Privacy policy
Short version: the codes are made inside your browser. The links you type, your Wi-Fi password and any logo you upload never reach us, because there is nothing on our side that receives them.
What happens to what you type
Everything the generator does — encoding the QR, drawing it, building the PDF, building the 3D model — runs as JavaScript on your own device. There is no server-side step and no upload.
That means your destination links, Wi-Fi network names and passwords, business names and logo files are processed only in your browser's memory. Close the tab and they are gone. We could not retrieve them if we wanted to.
What we do not do
We do not ask you to create an account, and there is nothing to log in to. We do not store the codes you generate. We do not have a database of user content. We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not collect any.
What our hosting provider records
Like any website, this one is served by a web host — Hostinger — whose servers keep standard access logs. Those logs typically include your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, and your browser's user-agent string. This is ordinary server operation, used for security and to keep the site running, and it happens before our code executes.
We do not analyse those logs to build profiles, and we do not link them to anything you type into the tool.
Cookies and analytics
The site itself sets no cookies and installs no analytics provider. The code contains an internal event counter that exists only in your browser's memory during your visit; it sends nothing anywhere and is erased when you close the tab.
If that changes — for example when advertising is switched on — this page and the cookie notice will be updated before the change goes live, not after.
Advertising
This tool is free. The intention is to support it with advertising, and the layout already reserves space for it. No advertising network is currently loaded and the site makes no third-party requests at all.
When advertising is enabled, it will be served by Google. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and may use your IP address and browsing activity to do so. You can review and control this at Google My Ad Center and at Google Ads Settings. This section will be updated with the specifics on the day ads are turned on.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the CCPA you have rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and objection over personal data held about you. In practice we hold none: there is no account, no stored content and no profile to access or delete.
If you believe we hold something about you, or you want to ask how any of this works, write to us using the address on the contact page and we will answer.
Children
This is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the bottom of this page changes with it. Material changes — particularly turning on advertising — will be reflected here before they take effect.
